CEBU CITY, CEBU – Parklane Hotel is coming up with a television show that would feature all things about Cebuanos.
“Beyond Borders” will be aired via Studio 23 every Tuesday at 10:30 in the evening. The show will kick-off on July and it runs for 13 weeks.
The show will be hosted by Bruce Cortes Bollozos of Guru Ads and Marketing and Jaybee Aquino, Marketing Communications Manager of Parklane.
“It’s not actually focused about the hotel but it features Cebu’s culture,” said Aquino, noting it would be the first TV show about Cebu set inside a hotel.
“This unique idea would definitely attract local and international tourists who are coming in to Cebu. This is also an opportunity for the locals to showcase their products to the world,” she added.
Beyond Borders will carry regular episodes on people, culture, products and events in Cebu.
Parklane Hotel, meanwhile, also has several activities lined up, including the “Hunat Sugbu: Dagan para kay Maning” fun run on May 15 at the Ayala Terraces in honor of the hotel’s late president Manuel Ting.
A medical mission in partnership with Jesu Christi Community of Cebu Manna-Ministry and Philippine Association of Family and Physicians will also be held on the same day.
Parklane will also be launching its authentic Cebuano restaurant KAN-ANAN, followed by a mini colorful presentation that will emulate the Sinulog Festival.
