MANILA CITY, METRO MANILA—The iconic image of the Black Nazarene is one of the major reasons why Filipinos like Dodong Villavicencio go to Quiapo Church during the Holy Week, especially on Good Friday.

Aside from the feast of the patron saint every January, it is believed that Good Friday is one of the biggest Catholic celebration in the church, also known as the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene.
