LAGAWE, IFUGAO –The Ifugao Rice Terraces need more protection as the famed World Heritage site continues to deteriorate.
According to the Philippine Rice Research Institute, worms have been damaging the roots of germinated rice seeds and eroding the terraces by digging out their walls.
