MARIKINA CITY, METRO MANILA— A museum in Marikina displays a privately-owned collection of the Belen or the Nativity scene that visitors can see all year-round.

Carmen Carlos started collecting Belens way back in high school during the 1950s. She bought her first ever Belen in a religious store in Tayuman. From simple dioramas, her collection has grown to include different Belens made of various materials and given as gifts from friends.
