MAKATI CITY, METRO MANILA – While others run to reach the finish line, Joy Rojas runs and take detours that teach her lessons on kindness.
Joy’s accomplishments as a runner are already impressive. She has completed a trans-Visayas run from Guiuan, Eastern Samar to Kalibo, Aklan, in 1997, a run in 2005 from Davao City to Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, and “Takbong Pangarap,” a cross-country run from Glendale, California to Central Park, New York, in 2009.
