Hi! thank you very much for featuring Dodgeball, and the work of the Philippine DodgeBall Association. This is really a big help for us in creating more awareness about the sport, which has many benefits, and which we are working to bring to more people.
I’d just like to note that Benedict Camara was not the one who introduced dodgeball to the national badminton team in 2004, but rather Club650 (Libis), where Benedict first played dodgeball. Part of the Club 650 management then was Karen Caballero, who is now one of the officers of the PDBA. PDBA only officially started in 2006. Also, we were not able to donate dodgeballs to Smokey Mountain yet. But we are working on it, and we hope that soon, we can go back and indeed donate some dodgeballs for their use.
Thank you very much again for this feature and for supporting our advocacy to bring the sport to more people, especially pupils and students and communities who have a lot to gain from playing dodgeball, and all sports in general.
