CORREGIDOR, BATAAN – The third and last part of historian Michael Chua’s documentary shows the return of Gen. Douglas McArthur and the Liberation of Manila in March 1945.
Amid the atrocities of the Japanese and Americans who “raped” Manila, the contributions of Filipino guerillas and war veterans in were never fully recognized.
Ultimately, the documentary aims to prove the significance of Bataan, and other landmarks that bore witness to these war heroes’ gallantry, loyalty and love for our country.
