All the information we collect from you, our dear audience, is strictly for creating and maintaining an account with loQal. This allows you to post your own stories, photos and video. However, you may place your contact information in the text that you post on loQal’s pages willingly and of your own volition if you so wish, to enable other readers to contact you directly. Your email address, username, password and other registration information shall remain private, but any information you post in loQal which you choose to make public will be viewable by other users.

The photos and videos you willingly choose to upload in loQal will also be made publicly viewable, so be careful when you are uploading such visual information, especially when there are other people in the photo or video who are not aware that they are in the frame. We do not rent, share or sell your personal information to any third-party organization. We do not process this information in a way that is not in accordance with the purpose for which it has been collected or authorized by our audience.

The information you volunteer gives you access to use loQal’s services. This includes your name, email address, personal URL, city, country, gender and date of birth. By using loQal, you consent to having your personal information transferred to and processed in the Philippines. We also monitor certain types of data on our server logs such as the browser you use, your IP address, cookie information and the page you requested. In case you are voting for articles, we record each vote you make. We use this to monitor usage trends, diagnose technical issues associated with using loQal, and to manage the website as a whole.

We do not allow account creation by minors and do not allow users below 18 years of age to become correspondents of loQal.
