QUEZON CITY, METRO MANILA – Legislators have filed a bill in Congress that seeks to enforce “people-centered” and more environment-friendly mechanisms to make the use of the country’s mineral resources serve the national development agenda.
House Bill No. 4315 or the “People’s Mining Act of 2011,” aims to re-align the limitations and potentials of the country’s remaining untapped mineral resource to benefit more Filipinos.
