TAGUIG CITY, METRO MANILA — Every year, natural disasters happen in the Philippines leading to destruction of property and loss of life.
Metro Manila alone has more more than 11 million residents many of whom are vulnerable to effects of natural disasters. Unfortunately, few city dwellers do not even know how to protect themselves from disasters, let alone plan ahead for one.
