MORONG, BATAAN – The potential nuclear crisis that Japan is facing could also raise questions regarding the Philippines’ own plans to reactivate the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP).
The Department of Energy (DoE) had included nuclear technology as a possible energy source, tapping the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI) to evaluate the country’s capabilities in having nuclear energy, not not necessarily reviving the BNPP.
