Lawmaker revives call to regulate billboards

QUEZON CITY, METRO MANILA—A lawmaker has revived calls to regulate the installation of billboards on major thoroughfares all over the metro.

Marikina Representative Marcelino Teodoro filed House Bill 1842, also known as the “Billboard Regulation Act,” which seeks to regulate installation of billboards and other similar structures “to ensure the safety of people and properties.”

    Just strictly enforce the National Building Code or PD 1096 & your problems are over. PICE, UAP, contractor’s associations & barangay officials should help the Office of the Building Official enforce PD 1096 by orienting or informing the general public of its provisions &/or contents & to morally persuade them to fully abide to it. Ty
