TAGUIG CITY, METRO MANILA— The recent tear gas incident involving local officials in Taguig City can be viewed on Youtube, thanks to blogger Alodia Gosiengfiao.
Gosiengfiao, more popularly known as a cosplayer, was taking footages of mayor-elect Lani Cayetano, wife of Senator Allan Peter Cayetano, during her proclamation rally at the Taguig City Hall when the incident took place.
In the video, Cayetano, who won against over former Supreme Court Justice Dante Tinga, was delivering a speech when the crowd suddenly panicked.
Her sister-in-law Senator Pia Cayetano, was also present during the rally with her two children Maxine and Nadine, who later on blogged about the incident. The lady senator herself posted updates via Twitter while the rally was ongoing.
Police later on claimed that it was an accident. Although no one was seriously hurt, the Cayetanos are requesting further investigation on the incident.
