TABUK, KALINGA – Fashion designer Joon Ascaño strives to keep his ancestral roots alive in his creations by incorporating the laga, a traditional piece of clothing woven by women in the Cordillera region.
“Since I started designing, I made it a point that I use laga in every one of my creations,” says Joon, who started sketching designs at a young age.
