CARAMOAN,  CAMARINES SUR – Just looking at this coconut milk-based dish seems enticing but if you’re not into spicy food, eating it is a totally different story.

Bicol Express is made by simmering strips of pork meat in coconut milk and adding alamang (shrimp paste) and siling haba and siling labuyo (green and red chilis).
