BORACAY ISLAND, AKLAN – The months of April to November are considered the hottest months of the year as amihan winds hit the island during this time.
For tourists, the best way to beat the heat is to head straight to The Original Jonah’s Fruitshake & Restaurant, along Station 1.
The snack bar is a favorite for its extensive menu of tropical milkshakes, dairy or non-dairy shakes, and rum-infused fruit shakes, among others.
The snack bar offers chocolate milkshakes with different flavors including Banana Mocha, Choco Banana Vanilla, Coffee, and Choco Peanut Banana.
Especially during the day when the temperatures are rising, the snack bar becomes packed by customers.
The blog Foodbanquet mentions that the simplicity of the taste and the freshness of their fruit shakes is the reason why customers endure the long wait.
Fran of Frannywanny swears those on diet would forget about counting calories with irresistibly rich and creamy shakes at Jonah’s.
The Original Jonah’s Fruitshake & Restaurant also serves breakfast meals starting at P90 to P200, pasta dishes at P125 to P250 and sandwiches with a siding of fries for P90 to P175.
At night, the place also hosts live band performances so you could sip your stress away with a cold refreshing shake and while listening to music.
