My wife was horrified to see the wild pig outside and stray cats leisurely roving around the restaurant. Zip, zero, nada for ambiance. Since this is the oldest restaurant in Manila, I wanted to at least try their fare. I ordered their overpriced lengua estofado which consisted of two small pieces of tongue. It was drenched in tomato sauce. Reminds me of my grandmother’s recipe back in the 50′s. The only consolation I got from Ambos Mundos is my writing this review. No, I would not go back again but at least my trip satisfied my curiosity.
