We were the passengers of Bus no. 17715 Dagupan Transit via Manaoag-Dagupan, Pangasinan leaving Manila at around 10:30 PM last Friday, January 20, 2012.
We reached Manaoag Church between 2:30 – 3:00 AM, too early to get inside the church since it will open at 4:00 AM. While waiting for opening of the gate, my niece discovered that her cell phone, Cherry Mobile, was not inside her bag, in short, it was “missing”. She told me that she remembered she used it and just placed on top of her bag.
I tried to call up the phone for 3 times and it was ringing but on the fourth try, it was already off.
I approached the bus conductor of Bus no. 17725 waiting passengers going to Cubao at Manaoag terminal. I aked him if he could relay to the conductor, Mr. R. Ramil of Bus no. 17715 if he found the cell phone. Luckily, the dispatcher, Mr. Nante Lamsen who contacted Mr. Ramil said that the cell phone was kept by him, which was given to him by an “honest passenger”.
In this case, I would like to thank Mr. R. Ramil for being honest to return the cell phone on that day. Also to the Dispatcher and to Bus Conductor of Bus no. 17725 for being accommodating and willing to help the passengers like us.
May your employees be commended for such honesty and integrity they show in rendering good service to their passengers.
