MAKATI CITY, METRO MANILA – With the pervasiveness of Internet-capable smartphones, these devices become more prone to hacking aside from the fact that users are not that aware of security risks.
Executives from information security firm Kaspersky Lab said that while there have only been a few cybercrime attacks on smartphones, these devices can be exploited to gain entry into more sensitive data, especially if these mobile phones are synchronized into a corporate network.
