MAKATI CITY, METRO MANILA – With its much-vaunted Windows Phone 7 (WP7), Microsoft is hoping to regain some of its foothold in a market where it used to have limited but absolute domination.
Late last year, Microsoft held an introduction to the WP7 operating system. The much improved smartphone OS had changed drastically from the original Windows Mobile 6.5, which remained in the resistive touch screen segment, practically dooming it.
