TAGUIG CITY, METRO MANILA— A landmark standard for “green buildings” promoting eco-friendly living is gaining support among real-estate and property companies, according to the Philippine Green Building Council Inc. (PhilGBC).
Called the “Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence” or simply referred to as ‘Berde’, it is a third-party certification and rating system that allows property owners to benchmark green buildings with a positive impact on quality of living.
