MAKATI CITY, METRO MANILA–The electric vehicle (EV) industry in the country is set to formulate a road map to see how to it can grow domestically and to answer mounting international pressure on carmakers due to tighter legislation on carbon dioxide emissions.
The Motor Vehicle Parts Manufacturers Association of the Philippines (MVPMAP) pioneered the EV industry in the Philippines by locally designing, fabricating, assembling, and actually putting on the road the e-Jeepney.
