QUEZON CITY, METRO MANILA – Globe Telecom recently demonstrated the results of its four-month long test of a Long Term Evolution (LTE) infrastructure that powers fourth-generation or 4G wireless communications.
LTE, defined by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), is a high speed telecommunications infrastructure that provides download speeds of up to 100 megabits per second (Mbps).
