PASAY CITY, METRO MANILA – The last three years have seen a slow but gradual release of services dedicated to mobile Internet in the Philippines.
The earliest mobile services were downloads of music, ringtones, wallpapers and images. Telecommunications firms Smart Communications and Globe Telecom had experimented on providing online services for mobile phone users.
