DUMAGUETE CITY, NEGROS ORIENTAL — National Artist for Literature Edith Tiempo passed away last August 21 but her immortal works prove that she was one the finest writers in English in the country.
A poet, teacher, fictionist and literary critic, Tiempo’s works were characterized by a remarkable fusion of style and substance, of craftsmanship and insight.
