Nine Filipino artists vie for Singapore’s Signature Art Prize

SINGAPORE – Nine Filipino artists are competing for the prestigious Signature Art Prize, which recognizes artists who create outstanding works of art that symbolize the contemporary styles and cultures of the Asia Pacific region.

The Filipino artworks – the first time the Philippines joined this contest — are on display Singapore Art Museum. The short list of finalists will be announced on October 1 and the winning art works will be announced during the Signature Art Prize Awards dinner on November 18.

  1. There are so many talanted artists who took part in this exhibition and I should admit that the final desicion was very difficult but after all the winers are toaly deserving their prizes.
