QUEZON CITY, METRO MANILA— National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) executive director Malou Jacob believes TV networks play a big role in promoting local art among today’s generation of Filipino youth.
During the recent launching of this year’s the Philippine International Arts Festival (PIAF), Jacob appealed to major TV networks, in particular ABS-CBN and GMA-7, to use their influence in making art accessible to the local audience.
