QUEZON CITY, METRO MANILA – For Paramita, being labeled “indie” may have its limitations but it’s not hindering them from striving to make better music.
“We do not follow the (music) trend.” says lead guitarist Marco De Leon, when asked how distinct is Paramita’s sound from current Filipino pop music. The band, he says, has always been defiant of conformity and adds they refuse to “box” their music like other local bands that are readily categorized according to genre.
