PAETE, LAGUNA – Artist Luis Ac-ac recalls not being able to finish his studies at the University of the Philippines due to financial constraints. He tried his luck in Manila but eventually found refuge in his hometown.
A native of Paete, Luis worked as a comics illustrator for an advertising agency but his earnings were not enough to meet the needs of his family.
